About PTA
Welcome to our 2024-25 parents of all ages at MLCP. As your PTA we are a volunteer group that does our best to facilitate your positive MLCP parent experience - we can answer your questions based on our own experiences, relay concerns to the school and provide a sounding board. Our children are also students in the school and we represent the full spectrum of ages. Working together, our goal is to enrich our children’s experience at MLCP with activities and opportunities outside of our regular school curriculum. We firmly believe that our students are receiving an excellent education at MLCP in a supportive and inclusive environment - we are just trying to add a little bit more. Our past efforts, which are indicative of what we will likely elect to do this upcoming academic year, have included supporting end of year special events like sports day, hosting free movie and swim nights outside of school hours (every child is super-thrilled to see their friends and teachers in a non classroom setting) and purchasing special items for the use of the children such as the rock wall, playground equipment and the whiteboard. We are planning to continue to offer the Scholastic book buying opportunity this year outside of the one time book fair – watch for details soon.
The PTA’s primary means of communication is Facebook, as well as the weekly school emails. Our activities are supported by fundraising, the details of those campaigns will be shared with our MLCP families - your support is appreciated.

Schedule of Meetings
Meetings for the 2024/2025 school year will be held on the following dates starting at 6:45pm. Complimentary babysitting is provided when meetings are held on-site. Hope to see you there!
